Praise the Lord that we were able to sign a one year rent contract, from 1st February, for a house close to the centre of Atalaya. It was difficult to get a place because when the owners of the houses learned that we wanted to have meetings they usually refused or put unrealistic prices for rent. The owner of the house we are going to rent said we could have meetings in the house so that has been put in writing. There is a big porch at the side of the house where we can meet. The rent is $200 a month plus we have to pay for improvements we need to make on the house. To day we had a man measure the windows and outside doors for security bars; so we get them installed before we move in. Thank-you for praying about this over these last few months.
At the end of December we got the tracts and 40,000 scripture calendars. It has been exceptionally busy between looking for a house and delivering the calendars all over the country. We have been delivering calendars door to door in seven towns around Santiago. The first town we did was La Soledad and one family have asked us to study the Bible with them. The lady of the house is Betty, so if you would remember her and her family before the Lord as well.
The Indians have found out that we are back in Panama, so the past few weeks we have had people stay with us and we are expecting others for Saturday. It has been good to catch up with them again after being in Northern Ireland for a number of months.
