Home Bible Studies
Please continue to pray for the Bible studies with Cesar & Chana, and Mariano, Median & family. Chana seems to understand and openly professed faith in Christ, but Cesar says he is a good person and that his faith in God is good enough for him. We also have a Bible study on marriage/family with Oliver & Magdalena who are believers. Magdalena's parents want them to continue to do all the sacraments of the traditional religion in Panama, and often pressure the family. Please pray for a softening in Magdalena's parent's hearts.

Baseball World Cup
From 1-15th October the Baseball World Cup competition was held in Panama.

We were able to deliver tracts to churches in Panama City and Aguadulce for them to give out at the games and we were able to give out at some of the games here in Santiago.

What an opportunity to give the written Word of God to people from all over the world, including China and Cuba!

During the two weeks many hundreds, if not thousands, of tracts were distributed.

Rent or Buy
Recently we have been looking for either a house to rent or a piece of land to buy so that we can build a meeting house in Atalaya. We feel the time is right to move the meetings from La Mina into the town itself because of the greater number of people who would be able to attend, and easier for many of the present believers to get to. Please pray that the Lord would guide us to the right property and for the finances to purchase or rent.

Men's Meeting
We have recently started a men's Bible study on a Sunday afternoon in our house. The men are believers from the Atalaya fellowship, Hilario, Juan, Junor and Oliver. Please be praying that God would touch the hearts of these men to take up the responsibility of leading the local fellowship in the way God's Word shows us.

Meetings continue
Each Tuesday and Sunday we have meetings in La Mina de Atalaya. Please pray for the unsaved family members of those who attend. We have been giving Juan, Hilario and Junor many opportunities to share the Word on the Sunday. We praise the Lord that Ramona's foot is healing well. In October she had 3 weeks of physiotherapy to help her walk again. Now she just has to go for a check up to the Doctor in December. Two weeks ago she stood up in church and gave thanks to God for healing her. It was a very moving testimony!

Gospel Calendars
At present we are waiting on a shipment from Revival Movement, Northern Ireland of children's devotional books and 40,000 gospel calendars. Please pray as we distribute these to churches all over the country as well as door to door in the villages around Santiago.

Home Assignment
Lord willing, at the end of March 2012 we will be returning to Northern Ireland for a time of furlough to get Judith settled into life there and started in college. If you would be interested in us sharing about the work in your church we will be available for meetings from Mid April on. You can contact us by phone on 07926191555 from 1st April, to set a date, or anytime by email.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. We really appreciate your part in the ministry in Panama and we realise that it would not be possible for us to continue to be in Panama if you were not behind us.
