Both of us are originally from Co. Armagh in Northern Ireland.
Hazel coming from Keady and Clive came from Seagoe, Portadown before his parents moved to near Loughgall when he was still in Primary school.
Hazel comes from a farming background at the Temple near Keady and Clive’s father worked in the family business of Abraham and Walker while his mother was nursing at Craigavon Hospital.
The Lord saved us both at early ages, Clive 11 years old and Hazel 12 years old. Clive trusted Christ for Salvation at a C.E.F. children's Mission at Vinecash Presbyterian church while Hazel trusted Christ as her Saviour at a Gospel Mission in hall at the Diamond near Portadown.
Six months after our marriage (July 1985) we headed to Bible School in England. The Lord had been challenging our hearts for a number of years concerning missionary work. It was in January of 1986 we started classes at New Tribes Mission at Matlock in Derbyshire.
From there in August 1987 we found ourselves in Pennsylvania USA for Missions training with the aim of working with Tribal people.
